I would like to exchange family data with anyone researching the SANOW name in Lyon County. My husband's great-grandfather, Wilhelm Friedrich
(William) SANOW (1847-1908), of Chicago IL, may have had relatives who settled in Minnesota and Iowa. A current telephone search has found SANOW families in the Marshall, Jasper, Lewiston, Minneota, Fulda, Tracy, Slayton, Mankato, Lynd, and Garvin areas.

YORK, MELWENSON, MILWENSON, FRIEDRICK, FREDRICKS My Great Great Grandmother, Isabell Elizabeth Milwenson was married to a Phillip Friedrick, 10 Aug 1874 in Chicago. They had a son Henry Gilbert, who had the name Friedrick at the time of christening in 1877. During the Spanish-American War, Henry sent a letter to his mother, I.E. York, PO Box 180 Tracy, Minn. At sometime between 1877 and 1898, I am assuming that my Great Great Grandmother remarried to a York, since this is the name my grandfather, Henry Gilbert used when he
enlisted in the military. However when he married he took
the name Fredricks. I am looking for any information, since to my knowledge there were no other children, other than Henry Gilbert.

I am looking for death information for the following names;
PLAGEMAN, Henrietta, born about 1820, died 1897-1900? PLAGEMAN, Louis, born about 1824, died 1900-1905? Their homes were likely in Yellow Medicine Co. at the time of their death, but I have been unable to find death information in that county for them, so I am wondering if it was likely that they may have gone to a
larger town in Lyon Co. for medical treatment, and then died in Lyon Co. Would this seem possible?? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. 1900, Louis enumerated in Florida Township, Yel. Med. Co. 1901, family living in Oshkosh Township 1907, family living in Norman Township
