BELTZ posted by Heidi Langenfeld on Wednesday, September 5, 2001: I would like to register the surname - BELTZ In 1885 Fred Beltz had 160 acres registered in his name at the Land Office in Redwood Falls. I am tracing a Fred Beltz (Frederick) married to Mina or Nina Beltz. They were in Trempealeau, Wisconsin in the 1870 and 1880 census. After that we've lost track of the family. Fred was born in 1828.

GEIST posted by Mary Joan Geist on Wednesday, September 5, 2001: GEIST: Hello, I have a picture of an older man taken in Marshall, MN, probably in the 1860-1880 range. It is on cardboard. I believe it to be a Geist, but can't verify that. Does anyone know of any Geist family members who might have been living in that area in the mid to late 1800's? Does anyone have an idea on places I could search within Lyon County for that surname? Thanks for any help!

His son, Walter William KRUEGER, was born Dec. 24, 1889 in Mamteno, IL; married Nov. 28, 1912, to Esther HOFSTAD, daughter of Johannes HOFSTAD and Anna MATHIASDATTER. Anyone have information on this business or Emil's birth place, birth date, spouse, etc.

KY, died October 3, 1940 in Marshall MN. Married to George Willian Gerlack. Had 3 children John, Lloyd and Jean Alice. Carrie was brought back to IN for burial. Her parents were Joseph Albert DELPH and Nettie Ann STEWART. Ernest C. Delph (her brother) is my father. Last contact was about 2 or 3 months before her death.
